Humpybong Yacht is proud to host a regatta as part of Yachting Queensland’s Sail Brisbane event in a effort to boost participation in sailing in Queensland.
Where previously Sail Brisbane has been focused on Olympic dinghy classes the event has been expanded to incorporate many more classes. As part of our Sail Brisbane regatta Humpybong Yacht Club will be hosting the A-Class Catamaran, NACRA and Cobra Class State Championships with at least six divisions competing. There is also opportunities for other classes to compete if they can put together a fleet of six or more boats.
The expansion of Sail Brisbane will make the sailing more visible to the public, specifically the local communities of the venues, showing how fun, safe and easy sailing can be for everyone.
