Belvedere Humpybash 2014
Humpybong Yacht Club is conducting its annual Humpybash Regatta again this October on Saturday and Sunday the 18th and 19th of October. There will be 6 races over the 2 days and we are expecting a good mixed fleet of small dinghy and catamaran sailors to attend. The International Contender sailors are using the Regatta as part of their Queensland Traveller Championships in the lead up to the Nationals Championships being held here on Bramble Bay in January 2015.
People travelling from afar may prefer to camp in the grounds, with other accommodation available locally.
The club will run a Saturday night BBQ, the canteen will be open and there are a plethora of other eating options – but please support our major club sponsor in the Belvedere Hotel by eating there on Saturday or Sunday night.

Sail Brisbane – Queensland Championships
Over the Easter long weekend in April 2014 a number of classes will be hosted by Humpybong Yacht Club for a range of state titles. The Queensland Division of the Australian A-Class Association have confirmed they will be attending and discussions with a number of other classes are progressing and will be announced shortly. The regatta is also going to be opened to any other classes looking for a host for their state titles to create one big event. If you know of a sailing class who may want to join us make sure you get in contact with the club.

We are also working with Yachting Queensland to make this event a part of Sail Brisbane for 2014 and beyond.
