To be entitled to store a boat in the storage area a person must be a financial member of HYC and complete a form.
That storage fees for the 2013/14 season be charged at $350 for small monohulls, $750 for all other vessels, and key deposits be charged at $125 per key.
In an effort to encourage as many boats as possible onto the water for club race days, those boats stored at the club will have 50% of their race fees waived for that season.
Storage rates can be reduced pro-rata for part year storage but waive of race fees only applies to those who pay for the year’s storage up front.
There are some conditions however;
- All stored boats must be seaworthy and on wheels, rollers or a trailer to allow movement within the yard.
- In the event of non-payment of boat storage fees the Humpybong Yacht Club reserves the right to dispose of the offending vessel by sale or any other means, after three (3) months of payment falling due, to free-up storage space.
