Course Description The Australian Sailing Race Officer Seminar is a half day seminar for Club level, aimed at educating people who wish to become involved with the officiating aspect within the sport of Sailing. Race Officers play an important role within sailing, conducting racing at clubs, and enabling organised participation and competition . Pre-Requisites There are no pre-requisites for participation in this seminar. However, attendance at the AS Race Officer Seminar is just one aspect of becoming a Race Officer. For more information on how to achieve a Club, State or National Race Officer accreditation, please contact your local Australian Sailing Club Support Officer. Course Outcomes Participants of the AS Race Officer Seminar will receive a Certificate of Completion.
